My Self Portrait Thanks To The Little Sister

My Life

Currently, I’m a freshman attending college at BYU-Idaho in Rexburg. I’m at the point in my life where each decision concerning education must be pondered accurately before a concluding choice can be made. However, despite the mental stress that is brought about by education, I believe that the path I must take in order to truly feel fulfilled in life is to become a licensed psychiatrist. Believe me, I’m well aware of the required amount of schooling that is needed to fulfill this goal, but I know dedication, a positive psychosomatic mind, and persistent effort can make my goal a reality. Where did I gain the urge to become a psychiatrist and deal with the crazies of the world you ask? The answer to that question is quite amusing. My senior year at Siuslaw High School in a small coastal town of Florence Oregon our psychology class had to opportunity of viewing the great movie called “The Sixth Sense”. Although this movie contained many diverse topics, I felt compelled to become a psychiatrist to guide those that possessed no such leader in life. I’m not a fan of going to school. Education has always been extremely easy for me, and I’m very thankful to be blessed with strong mental abilities.

One of my most motivating factors in life is my family. My family has always been supportive of me throughout my life endeavors. I get my stubbornness from my mother, so when an argument does arise the “logical fallacies“ show their true colors. However, at the end of the day all arguments are forgotten and love is bestowed in the house once again. My biggest cheerleader in life (also the only individual who possesses the power to make me smile on a bad day) is my little five year old sister Olivia. Olivia is the most precious, cute, innocent little girl you’d ever meet. She is always cheerful and too cute for her own good. I also have a fifteen year old sister, who, you guessed it, is a drama queen. Once she decides the ultimate possessions in life are not makeup and cloths we can be friends (I’m kidding obviously). My stepfather Andy is one of the most educated individuals I’ve had to opportunity to meet. He sets the bar for me to become just as great as him. Also, we have fuzziest little puppy you’d ever meet named Oreo, and my little sister has a hamster named Christmas Cookie.

Now back to me and my interests. I’m currently participating in the ROTC Army program at BYU-Idaho in hopes of having some of my medical school paid for. Although, I absolutely hate working out, I do respect and appreciate all of my fellow comrades. One activity I do like is Paintball. I could paintball forever, and the main reason its fun is to have the ability to hurt your friends with no consequences. I also enjoy playing golf on a nice spring morning and afternoon. Another thing I hold dear is music. My favorite artist is Tom Delonge. I adore Blink-182, Boxcar Racer, and especially Angels and Airwaves. Also, any music form the 1990’s is a favorite of mine.

As far as the person I truly am you’d have to know me on a personal level. I’m stubborn, opinionated, logical, realistic, and I tell it how I feel, even if it challenges your beliefs. I don’t sugar coat anything, and people need to understand that I act this way because that’s how I am. I’ve always been a good person to give advice, and I feel great after doing so. I’ve always been pretty reserved as a person. I’d rather keep my emotions and mental stress internal rather than tell the world me personal problems. I’ve always had awesome friends, but I’m beginning to speculate if all girls suddenly suffer of blindness when I’m around. I’ve been single for almost 19 years, but whatever, with each step life consistently moves forward. Anyone who has been around me knows that I love comedy. The best part of life is embarrassing people who you know can’t handle public awkwardness. But, everyone knows that I love comedy because it personally makes me a happy person.
